How did you choose these specific chains?

I started with the top 50 fast-food chains listed in the QSR 50. From these, I chose only the chains whose websites provide the latitude and longitude of each location directly, rather than linking to Google Maps. This makes it easier to request permission in the future to upload the data to OpenStreetMap without running into licensing issues.
